Cover for The Crimes of Elizabeth Darcy

We are getting VERY close to publication of The Crimes of Elizabeth Darcy, so close I thought it was time to finally share the cover.

silhouette of a woman with a burning sailing ship inside the silhouette, text: The Crimes of Elizabeth Darcy, Sophie Turner

As you can see, this is quite different from my usual covers! With a title this provocative, I wanted a cover that was going to be a provocative match. And I liked the idea of using something very much of the period, a silhouette, in a different way.

You may have noticed the adjustment in my name, as well. I have been considering doing this for quite some time, as you may have noticed I am decidedly not the most famous Sophie Turner out there, hahaha. Given I just crossed the halfway mark for my series, that was what gave me pause. So I decided that I will continue to use Sophie Turner on the covers of those books but begin to introduce the C. in any standalones, with the plan being to completely shift over to that completely once the series is done.

Those who are on ff.net and Archive of Our Own may also have noticed that I have removed all but a preview for those books. This is because I cannot have the story up in full on those sites and also participate in Kindle Unlimited.

One more thing: I am now on Instagram, so if you'd like to give me a follow there, I'll be posting periodically with book covers as well as images from my travels.

Watch this space for news on the final publication of the book!
